THE DENT CODE

These are guiding principles for Collective members. As a member you'll be expected to model these values. Please make sure the below resonates with you.

  1. Encourage Others
Great dancers lift the people around them. We celebrate the success of others and support those who are still growing.
  2. Lead With Humility
Talent is important, but character matters more. We stay humble in victory and respectful in defeat.
  3. Compete With Integrity
Competition should make us better, not bitter. We compete with honesty, effort, and respect for every dancer who steps on stage.
  4. Choose Character Every Time
Leadership is revealed in small moments. We choose kindness, responsibility, and maturity even when it is difficult.
  5. Tell Your Story Honestly
Our story is part of our influence. We represent ourselves and our experiences with authenticity and respect online and in person.
  6. Contribute to the Community
Leadership means giving back. We share what we learn, support younger dancers, and work to strengthen the dance community.
  7. Grow Relentlessly
We are never finished learning. We welcome feedback, embrace challenges, and pursue growth as artists and as people.

Being part of the Dent Collective is not about status.
It is about choosing to lead, grow, and contribute to the community around you.
