My name is Tara and I am a Competitive dancer, a singer and actress and model. I started dancing when I was just about 2 years old and competing when I was 5 years old. I will be 12 in January of 2026, and this is my 10th year of dance. My favorite genre of dance is tap and I will be competing my 4th solo this season. I also love lyrical and hip-hop, but compete in tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip-hop with the best team in Massachusetts.
Music has always been a part of my life. Singing, dancing, playing instruments. I attended the DC Tap fest in the summer of 2024 and met Chloe amd Maude. It was an amazing experience and I learned lots of dances and met lots of other great tappers. I am a shy person in general but when I get on stage I am free, I feel able to express myself with no fear or worries or judgment. I can just be me. I have been singing for the last 3 years and love everything about it. I sing in a group and as a soloist.
My goal as a dancer/competitor is to prove to myself that I can be better than the year before. I do not go on stage expecting to win, but to express myself, dance my heart out with a smile on my face and entertain the judges and represent my dance studio to the best of my ability.
I love all my friends for who they are no judgment and hold them close to my heart. My goal one day is to be a famous dancer, singer, or actress.
